canada_ontario_toronto_bloomsRoad Trips Gardeners know that spring arrives in Canada somewhat later than it does in much of the United States. Perhaps that explains the energy (or, is that the longing for spring?) permeating Canada Blooms!, set for March 17-21, 2010, in the Direct Energy Centre, 100 Princes’ Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There’ll be six acres of gardens plus more than 200 hours of gardening demonstrations and talks.

Psst: those of you who also are members of the Red Hat Society, listen up. If you wear your red hat to the show on March 20, 2010, you’re eligible for a discounted ticket offer, guided garden tours with well known personalities, food and beverage specials and an opportunity to be part of a private lecture given by Mark Cullen of Canada AM and CFRB1010 exclusively for Red Hat members only.
