tulips_yelloworangeWhat would spring be without spring flowers! The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm stages its 25th annual Tulip Festival March 25 through April 25, 2010, just outside Portland, Oregon (exact address is 33814 South Meridian Road, Woodburn, Oregon). Weekend admission is $10 per carload ($5 per carload during the week) to the 40 acres of tulips and daffodils, plus activities for the entire family. Needless to say, Road Trips Gardeners, there are more activities on the weekend (including crafters and wooden shoemakers). If you want to commune with the bulbs in the field, you’re probably better off wandering that way during the week!
