Tulips in Parc de l’Indépendance

Narcissi, hyacinths and more than 200 tulip species are expected to bloom in the floral borders of Parc de l’Indépendance along Lake Geneva near Morges Castle in Switzerland between April 2 and May 16, 2010. Two weekends at the 40th annual Tulip Festival will honor special guests: from Turkey, the tulip’s native land (April 23-24) and Holland, its main producer these days (May 1-2). Admission is free.
