violasThe Maryland House & Garden Pilgrimage (MHGP) is a set of tours spread out over four weekends in two months. It’s a multi-county series that gives visitors an inside look at both historic and contemporary sites. The 2010 tour includes 57 private homes, gardens, farms, churches and historic sites across six Maryland counties.

First up, April 25, 2010, is Baltimore City (Guilford). Then, on May 1, 2010, it’s Baltimore County, followed on May 2, 2010, by Montgomery County; May 8, 2010, by Charles County; May 15, 2010, by Talbot County, and ending May 16, 2010, with Cecil County.

MHGP is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of historic and architecturally significant properties in the State of Maryland. This year marks the 73rd anniversary of the tour.
