Virginia GoGreen Garden Festival
Gardening combines with eco awareness at the Virginia GoGreen Garden Festival, set for September 11, 2010, in Richmond, Virginia.
The festival, held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine, covers all aspects of the Virginia horticulture industry – the growing of plants, gardening products, gardening and landscape services and education about gardening and environmental stewardship.
The festival takes place at the Virginia Science Museum (the old Richmond train station), Garner Pavilion, 2500 West Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia. Admission is $3 per person; parking is free. It’s sponsored by the Virginia Green Industry Council.
On sale will be shrubs, perennials and house plants. There’ll also be Green Living education, exhibits and tours. Visitors will be able to explore garden design, gardening products, and landscape services. An “ask the experts” booth will let you discuss your fall lawn and garden questions with people in the know.
