An annual Central Ohio tradition, Holidays at the Conservatory includes poinsettias (don’t miss the 10-foot-tall poinsettia “tree”), but also Candlelight Nights, Candlelight Dinners and a new-this-year music box model train by garden railway designer Paul Busse.

It all takes place in the Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio, through January 5, 2011.

Candlelight Nights, from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, include votive candles, twinkling holiday lights and holiday music. Look for them on December 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2010.

The Candlelight Dinners take place in the John F. Wolfe Palm House. The formal dinners featuring local ingredients are prepared by Conservatory Catering. Upcoming dates are December 8, 15 and 22, 2010. Cost is $55 for adults.
