Orchard in Bloom

Orchard In Bloom, now in its 23rd year, is set for April 27 through 29, 2012, in Holliday Park, 6363 Spring Mill Road, Indianapolis, Indiana (map) — and takes place rain or shine.

Tickets at the gate are $12.

Recognized by the American Horticultural Society as one of the top garden shows in the country, it features gardening and landscape ideas and products; national exhibitors with a broad range of art and merchandise; live music; speakers, and children’s activities.

This year’s featured artist is Brad Cox, owner of the Iron Gate

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Parking and free shuttle bus service is available at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana (map).

Orchard In Bloom is the major fund-raising annual event of the Parents’ Association of The Orchard School. Proceeds support improvements and outdoor education programs at Holliday Park and innovative initiatives at The Orchard School.
