Ikebana Exhibitions

The Ikebana International Society presents an exhibition of traditional Japanese flower arranging at the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois (map), June 9 and 10, 2012. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

The following weekend, June 16 and 17, 2012, the Sogetsu School of Illinois stages an Ikebana exhibit at the garden.

Visitors will see more than 50 Japanese floral arrangements on display. Hours are from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Sogetsu School of Illinois members will be on hand to answer questions.
