The annual Lavender Festival takes place this weekend in Oregon.

Visit any of dozens of lavender farms July 14 and 15, 2012. Each farm offers its own selection of different varieties, as well as activities special to this festival, including: lavender bouquet cutting, live music, food for purchase and other vendors.

The event is organized by the Oregon Lavender Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of lavender in Oregon.
