ohio_cleveland_bigspringThe “Big Spring” show at the Cleveland Botanical Garden, 11030 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio (map), is well underway.

These gardeners think they know what Alice meant when she said her wonderland was “curioser and curioser”. Humongous ladybugs, giant flowers and enormous garden tools are some of the curious and wonderful things awaiting you at this supersized, all-new indoor and outdoor springtime celebration.

Great for kids, too, the only conundrum is choosing what to do first in this larger-than-life setting:
*Join an imaginative tea party in a woodland garden
*Explore an indoor garden hedge maze
*Dress up as a bug and “strut your stuff” at the Toadstool Theater

After the endless winter, you can go from “housebound to spellbound” in one giant step.

The exhibition runs now through April 28, 2013. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $12 for adults.
