Orleans Dogwood Festival

The annual Dogwood Festival takes place April 27 through May 4, 2013, around the Historic Congress Square in downtown Orleans, Indiana (map).
This southern Indiana town is considered the Hoosier State’s Dogwood Capital, and the trees should be in full bloom.
Oh, yes. There also will be plenty of arts and crafts, carnival rides, food, live entertainment and a parade, in addition to all sorts of contests (bed race anyone?).
