Road Trips Gardeners who’ll be in central Indiana in early June might want to mark their calendars for the Historic Meridian-Kessler Home & Garden Tour.

It’s set for June 8 and 9, 2013, on the north side of Indianapolis, Indiana, in an area bordered by Kessler Boulevard to the north, 38th Street on the south, Meridian Street on the west and the Monon Railroad line to the east.

Seven homes are open this year. Their gardens include an ivy wall, pergolas, outdoor sculpture, raised flower beds and slate patio. Tickets at $20 are available at each house on the days of the tour.

Planned and promoted by volunteers, proceeds benefit the Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Association.
