oregon_barn-owl-nurseryYou’ll have three weekends to check out the 100 varieties of lavender plants growing at Barn Owl Nursery, 22999 Southwest Newland Road, Wilsonville, Oregon (map): June 28 through 30, 2013; July 19 through 21, 2013, and July 26 through 28, 2013. Hours each day are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There’ll be information on growing and using lavender, culinary and craft demonstrations, fresh-cut lavender bunches and plants to buy.

Barn Owl started as a retail herb nursery in 1982. About 20 years ago they started specializing in lavender, and hosted their first Lavender Festival in 1998.
