US Lavender Growers’ Association Conference

lavendarHave you been growing lavender, Road Trips Gardeners (or, thinking about growing lavender?).

Everyone is invited to the first conference of the United States Lavender Growers’ Association, to be held October 18 through 20, 2013, near Richmond, Virginia, at the Holiday Inn Airport, 445 International Center Drive,
Sandston, Virginia (map).

The theme is “Developing Healthy Roots: Growing a Professional Lavender Industry”. Registration information is here.

Session leaders will include Dr. Robert Tisserand from Ojai, Calif., an aromatherapist and educator, and Dr. Arthur O. Tucker, Research Professor & Co-Director of the Claude E. Phillips Herbarium Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources, and Professor Emeritus at Delaware State University.
