Flower(s) of the Day: Dundalk, Ireland
As if visitors who’ve spent time at the Doagh Famine Village in Dundalk, Ireland, need any reminding, the curators have added this bittersweet planter.
No: in 1840s Ireland, life was not a bed of roses.
The concept does make for an interesting outdoor planter, however, at this museum of Irish history in the far northwest of the country.
