Ipomoea tricolor, Morning Glory by Myra Sourkes.©The 17th annual Botanical Art Exhibit will be on display March 24 through June 7, 2015, at Filoli, 86 Cañada Road, Woodside, California.

Artworks selected this year will be displayed in the Visitor and Education Center while select pieces from its three major florilegia collections: the Filoli, the Banks’ and the Highgrove, will be displayed in the historic house.

The estate, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will host an artist reception from 5 to 7 p.m. March 26, 2015. Artists will be on hand to share their botanical art knowledge and experiences and the curators wil share insight into the exhibit and present the exhibit awards. While admission to the reception is free, reservations are required (deadline is March 20, 2015).

Filoli is located about 30 miles south of San Francisco, just south of the junction of Highways 92 and 280.
