Tulip Time in Pella, IowaIf Iowa’s on your route next month, Road Trips Gardeners, consider a stop in Pella for the annual Tulip Time celebration, now celebrating its 83rd year.

The family-friendly event May 3, 4 and 5, 2018, features parades, Dutch costumes, demonstrations, performances, a craft and vendor fair, quilt, and flower shows (not to mention gardens filled with tulips). Check out the online schedule.

Pella, founded by Dutch immigrants, is a community with parks and architecture reminiscent of the historic Netherlands.
