Art shows, tours, parades (including an antique car parade and tailgate picnic), exhibitions, contests, lectures, and, of course, daffodils are promised at the annual Daffodil Festival on Nantucket Island, just off the coast of Massachusetts. This year’s event takes place April 26, 27, and 28, 2019.

Your Road Trips Gardener’s favorite part? A Daffy Hat Contest (there’s an example, at left).

Always held the last weekend of April, it’s sponsored by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce.

The Nantucket Community Daffodil Flower Show is sponsored by the Nantucket Garden Club and approved by The American Daffodil Society.
