Hydrangea Festival
The Penny McHenry Hydrangea Festival takes place June 4-6, 2010, in downtown Douglasville, Georgia. It includes daytime garden tours, lectures and a market.
The maps for the Daytime Garden Tour can be picked up at the Old Douglas County Courthouse from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both during the week prior to the festival and during the festival. The event is named in honor of Penny McHenry, founder of the American Hydrangea Society. It’s presented by Douglas County and Historic Douglasville.
