Poinsettia Show Opened Friday

The annual Poinsettia Show opened yesterday (November 19) in Luthy Botanical Garden, 2218 North Prospect (in Glen Oak Park), Peoria, Illinois. It runs through December 31, but is closed on Mondays. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The show is in the Conservatory, where the tropical collection blends with hundreds of poinsettias to create a wonderland unmatched anywhere in Peoria. Conservatory admission fees are waived during the holidays, Road Trips Gardeners, although they always accept donations.

Luthy Botanical Garden is a member of the American Public Garden Association and participates in the reciprocal admissions program sponsored by the American Horticultural Society.
