The annual show hosted by the Badger State Dahlia Society will be held August 18 and 19, 2012, at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, 3330 Atwood Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin (map).

The gardens include 16 acres of landscapes and Midwest-hardy plants plus the Bolz Conservatory, filled with exotic plants, flowers, orchids, birds and a waterfall.

The outdoor gardens are free and open daily; conservatory admission is $2 — free on Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. til noon.
