The Peninsula Fruit Club’s Fall Fruit Show and Sale is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 20, 2012, in the Silverdale Community Center, 9729 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, Washington (map)

A donation is requested for admission.

Some 150 to 200 different varieties of apples will be on display and available for tasting, along with many varieties of pears, grapes, figs, nuts and various other fruits.

There’ll also be videos on fruit growing topics,displays about pests, diseases, pollination and bees. Fruit trees and growing supplies will be for sale as well as fresh fruit.
