It may be hard to conjure up images of cherry blossoms when there are poinsettias all around, but consider this, Road Trips Gardeners: next spring you can journey to Georgia for the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival.

The 32nd annual fest is set for March 23 and 24, 2013, in Conyers, Georgia. In addition to the magnificent flowering trees all around town, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Georgia International Horse Park, 1996 Centennial Olympic Parkway, Conyers, Georgia (map), there’ll be the usual festival fun: arts and crafts vendors, a children’s play area, an international food court and two stages with cultural performances, including the Taiko Japanese drummers from Tampa, Florida.
