Some two dozen lavender destinations will open their doors July 13 and 14, 2013, for the annual Oregon Lavender Festival.

It’s set for July 12 through 14, 2013.

Since 2000, the festival has been celebrating all things lavender on the second weekend in July (when the majority of lavender is at its peak in the Pacific Northwest).

The festival has several components: a tour of lavender farms and lavender-centric nurseries in the region Southwest of Portland (most offering U-cut lavender and/or lavender plants for sale), and an Artisan Fair in downtown Yamhill, Oregon (map), with lavender-based booths, activities and food.
