florida_coralgables_wingsThree thousand butterflies are on display every day in “The Wings of the Tropics” exhibit in The Clinton Family Conservatory of the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road Coral Gables, Florida (map).

Thousands of exotic heliconids, morphos and owl butterflies from Central America, South America and Asia perform their aerial displays all around visitors.

These butterflies will represent about forty different species at a time, creating a “living rainbow” for visitors to walk through. The Garden can display up to two hundred different species at once, so it will be continually rotating the varieties on view.
