“Behind the Scenes” at the Philly Flower Show
Get behind the scenes of the Philadelphia Flower Show at a 3 p.m. lecture January 29, 2014, exploring this year’s show theme, “ARTiculture” where art meets horticulture.
Ron Mulray (pictured), owner of Philadelphia Flower Company and an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) will discuss how the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s exhibition “Treasures from Korea: Arts and Culture of the Joseon Dynasty, 1392-1910” provided inspiration for the AIFD Flower Show exhibit
Part of the Eugene & Marie-Louise Jackson Lecture Series, the presentation is free with museum admission; however: space is limited and reservations are required. Register online.
The lecture takes place in the Van Pelt Auditorium of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
