World Flower Show plus Gardens
It’s often easier to visit blockbuster shows on an escorted tour. Insight Vacations has organized a 17-day jaunt to Ireland and England to include the 2014 World Flower Show in Dublin, Ireland.
“Ireland & England in Bloom” is a one-shot deal with a departure of June 21, 2014. It includes not only the show, but also a selection of gardens in the two countries:
*Powerscourt House and Gardens in Wicklow, Ireland: formal gardens, terraces, lakes, hidden hollows, rambling sidewalks and more than 200 varieties of trees and shrubs.
*The 98-acre Mount Stewart House and Gardens in Belfast, Northern Ireland
*Garnish Island in Bantry Bay, Ireland
*The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornwall, England is known for its Sleeping Goddess (pictured).
The trip ventures from Dublin, Ireland, to London, England — exploring numerous castles, estates and exhibitions along the way.
