Texas Bluebonnets
The 50th annual Bluebonnet Festival takes places from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 12, 2014, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 13, 2014, in Chappell Hill, Texas.
Like most small town fests, it has food, games, music, arts & crafts and entertainment, but for Road Trips Gardeners, the primary appeal is the timing: the bluebonnets are blooming all around the area.
The Festival is hosted by the Chappell Hill Historical Society, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of the community’s history and historic buildings. (In case you’re wondering, this is the Official State of Texas Bluebonnet Festival as declared by the Texas Legislature.)
