Flower(s) of the Day: Redbud and White Dogwood

It’s all second-growth forest in Illinois’ Hardin County (the land was cleared for farming about 150 years ago), but the woods are still stunning in spring.
This shot shows some of the redbud and white dogwoods in bloom in the region that’s part of Southernmost Illinois. Gorgeous!
