Yep. It’s time to think about forcing spring bulbs to bloom ahead of schedule indoors. Road Trips Gardeners traveling through Georgia might want to attend a workshop on the subject set for 10 a.m. to noon November 1, 2014.

Forcing the Issue” will be held at Hills & Dales Estate, 1916 Hills and Dales Drive, LaGrange, Georgia.

Greenhouse manager David Brown will demonstrate how to force pots of bulbs to bloom on your schedule — tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, amaryllis and others.

All supplies for the workshop are included in the $35 per person cost, and you’ll leave with a pot of bulbs ready for forcing.
