The fourth annual Seed Swap and Potluck sponsored by Slow Food Piedmont is set for January 24, 2015, in Gray Auditorium, Old Salem Visitors Center, 900 Old Salem Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The potluck lunch part of the event, which is open to all (including Road Trips Foodies), might prove a little tricky for those of us who are traveling, but if you can figure out what seeds to bring for the swap, you can probably figure out something edible and portable to bring and share.

Seed swapping is also story swapping and there will be time to share the known history of special seeds, as well as to swap growing experiences from the wide variety of seeds grown and saved.
