Poinsettias at Bedford Falls
The annual poinsettia show at the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory & Botanic Gardens, Baltimore, Maryland, runs through January 4, 2015.
This year, the show’s theme is Bedford Falls (yes, the town of “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Hundreds of unusual poinsettia specimens of every color, size, and shape – produced in the greenhouses at Cylburn Arboretum – will be on display: Winter Rose, Tapestry, Ice Punch, Shimmer Surprise, Strawberries & Cream, and Fireworks are just a few of the varieties of poinsettias that are on display.
Throughout the duration of the show, many poinsettias will be available for sale — but bring cash or your checkbook. For reasons inexplicable in the 21st Century, the conservatory gift shop does not accept credit cards.
