illinois_chicago_garfield_poinsettiasIn June 2011, the Garfield Park Conservatory stood in the path of one of the worst hail storms Chicago has ever seen. After years of construction, limited access, and the challenges of protecting the plant collection, the newly renovated Show House was ready for the holiday flower show under a brand new glass roof over a renovated steel structure.

The holiday show is open through January 4, 2015, in the Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 North Central Park Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
