Connecticut Flower & Garden Show
The 34th annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show takes place February 19 through 22, 2015, in the Connecticut Convention Center, 100 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, Connecticut.
Highlights of “Spirit of Spring” include:
• Eighteen gardens filling more than an acre, created by professional landscape designers and nonprofit organizations.
• Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut’s 2015 Advanced Standard Flower Show with 250 entries judged with a “Ports of Call” theme.
• More than 300 booths with displays, activities, artisans and handcrafted gifts, and aisles of fresh flowers, plants, garden ornaments, herbs, bulbs, seeds, fertilizers, soils, gardening books, patio furniture, ornaments and lawn equipment for purchase. Insider tip: Bring a 1/2 cup of your garden soil (assuming you can hack out out of the frozen ground) to the University of Connecticut Co-op booth for free soil testing.
• More than 80 hours of seminars by horticulturists and other experts.
