A Butterfly Kaleidoscope comes to life in the Hilbert Conservatory of White River Gardens beginning today (March 20, 2015).

Some 40 species of butterflies will fill every corner of the conservatory in White River State Park, downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, through Labor Day.

Each day, new butterflies, like the blue morpho, monarch and great owl butterflies, will be released from the chamber. Come to one of the scheduled releases and watch them take their first flight.

Children also will love the new interactive butterfly building station, where they can build a giant replica of these interesting insects.
