Plant Finders Fair
Attending a plant sale overseas is a bittersweet experience for Road Trips Gardeners (since U.S. agriculture regulations prohibit us from carrying plants and seeds back to the States), but, oh! what a wonderful experience nonetheless.
The Plant Finders Fair at Kew Gardens just outside London, England, is just one of those experiences — and this is its debut appearance.
Set for April 24, 25 and 26, 2015, on the Banks Lawn and in the Nash Conservatory, the fair opens at 10 a.m. each day, and closes at 6:30 p.m. Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Enter via the Elizabeth Gate, Kew Green.
The fair will feature “hero” growers together with makers of garden paraphernalia from across the United Kingdom and beyond.
All exhibitors for this fair are hand-picked: you will meet owners and growers who really care about their plants and offer the interesting as well as the unusual. Meeting the growers face-to face gives you access to expert advice on how to get the very best from the plants you are buying.
There also will be small independent garden retailers and specialist makers.
