pasco_tania-meadowsSince 1930, Britain has lost a staggering 97% of its traditional meadows. As a response to this major change to the natural landscape, a new wild garden movement is looking to ‘re-wild’ Britain’s nature and food.

Tania Pascoe has spent the last five years charting this movement and the results is her new book Wild Garden Weekends. Pascoe is an experienced amateur gardener, professional sustainability consultant and best-selling author. She brings a passion for nature, biodiversity and food to her writing and practice.

Pascoe will discuss the recent trend in wild gardening at 6:30 p.m. April 16, 2015, in the Garden Museum, Lambeth Palace Road, London, England. She chronicles her journey across Britain in search of beautiful wild gardens. On the way, Tania will share with us some of the her favorite secret gardens, wild flower meadows, kitchen garden cafés and most enchanting places to stay across the United Kingdom. Following her presentation, she will answer questions about her career and her passion for wild gardening.

Tickets are £15.
