If you’re wandering southeast Alabama in mid-May, Road Trips Gardeners, consider a stop at the Daylily Art & Garden Festival.

It’s set for the third Saturday in May — that’s May 16, 2015, this year — in Headland, Alabama.

The festival features an art show inside the park of Headland’s downtown square with a farmers’ market and garden-related vendors situated around the perimeter.

Entertainment in the gazebo, children’s art and gardening activities and gardening demonstrations round out the day’s activities. Local daylily growers offer garden tours nearby throughout the day.
