Flowers of the Day: A Shaker Cutting Garden

The gardeners at the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill just outside Harrodsburg, Kentucky, plant a variety of flowers in a cutting garden.
Since the Trustees’ Table relies on straight-from-the-garden ingredients (their own garden and those of local farmers), it’s logical that the flowers on the table should also be locally sourced.
These were some of the blossoms available early last fall.
