Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
Enjoy six days of “green-fingered fun” at the 25th annual Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, set for June 30 through July 5, 2015, just outside London, England. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. each day.
The event is the world’s largest annual flower show, and it all takes place on the grounds of the royal palace said to have been Henry VIII’s favorite.
Road Trips Gardeners will see isplay gardens, the rose marquee and the conceptual gardens showcasing “the next big names” in garden design. There’ll also be floral displays, demonstrations on growing your own fruit and vegetables, information on gardening in a changing climate, and a marketplace for garden products.
This year’s six Conceptual Gardens have the theme of Sensations with designers asked to create immersive and interactive installations. There is also a seventh garden, which is a wildcard garden based on a concept from outside the scope of the theme.
It’s sponsored by the Royal Horticultural Society. Ticket information is available online.
