canada_bc_sun[peaks_wildflowerNope. It’s not too late to see wildflowers. Just head north to the Alpine Blossom Festival, set for July 31 through August 2, 2015, at Sun Peaks Resort, 1280 Alpine Road, Sun Peaks, British Columbia, Canada.

Organizers note that with t warmer spring and early summer, the alpine wildflowers are already in full bloom. There are a couple of ways to see the blossoms up close and personal, Road Trips Gardeners. Take a ride on the Sunburst Chairlift to access 16 designated hiking trails or hike to the wildflower meadows on Tod Mountain.

There’s more on the hiking trails online.
