Fall Plant Sale at Swarthmore

pennsylvania_swarthmore_scott-arboretumThe annual fall plant sale at the Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College, 500 College Avenue, Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, takes place September 11, 12 and 13, 2015.

If you’re lucky enough to be in the area twice in the upcoming weeks, you can stop by the Gillespie Room of Wister Center at the arboretum for a plant sale preview from 10 a.m. ’til noon August 20, 2015.

Jeff Jabco, Coordinator of Horticulture; Chuck Hinkle, Garden Supervisor, and Josh Coceano, Horticulturist, will introduce the sale’s offerings. Road Trips Gardeners can learn more about the collection of edible ornamentals as well as collections of ferns, hydrangeas and ornamental vines.
