Orchid lovers headed to Iowa in mid-month might want to schedule a stop at the fourth annual Eastern Iowa Orchid Show & Sale.

It takes place October 17 and 18, 2015, in Noelridge Gardens Greenhouse, 4900 Council Street NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sponsored by the Eastern Iowa Orchid Society, it’s held in cooperation with the Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department.

This is an American Orchid Society judged show with displays constructed by orchid societies from Iowa and surrounding states. Orchid plants and potting supplies will be for sale from reputable vendors around the region.
