Learn Botanical Drawing in Michigan

michigan_meijer_japanese-mapleHave you ever wanted to try your hand at drawing flowers, Road Trips Gardeners? If you’ll be wandering western Michigan next month, consider scheduling time for “Beginning Botanical Drawing”.

The workshop conducted by Don Harris is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. November 10, 2015, at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, 1000 East Beltline Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
November 10, 2015 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Enjoy the engaging process of botanical drawing as you learn with flowers and foliage from the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory to recognize and develop structure and texture using watercolor pencils. All materials provided.

Cost is $43, and you can be sure to reserve a spot by signing up in advance online.
