Sometimes a hotel’s usual bouquet is replaced by one honoring a convention or meeting at the site.

Such was the case last October, when the Society of American Travelwriters held its annual convention in Wenzhou, China. The headquarters hotel, the Shangri-La Wenzhou, fashioned an enormous “cube” in the traditional Chinese colors of red and golden yellow, to welcome participants into the main lobby.
