Gesneriad Show, Chicago Botanic GardenThe next Gesneriad Society Show and Sale takes place March 25 and 26, 2017, at the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois.

Hours both days are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s sponsored by the Northern Illinois Gesneriad Society.

Gesneriads (houseplants in the Northern Hemisphere) include the lipstick plant, primroses, and African violets.

The show features rare plants, artistic and educational entries, plus a sale offering growing supplies and many unusual and difficult-to-find varieties.
