Flower(s) of the Day: Along the Sidewalk in Takayama, Japan

Lots of us put pots of flowers by the front door, but some of us go just that little bit extra to make (for lack of a better word) a tableau.
This pretty arrangement of lavender and white blooms with an antique bicycle was spotted on a walk through the Japanese city of Takayama.
