If you’ll be in the Southeast later this month, Road Trips Gardeners, consider attending this workshop at Hills & Dales, 1916 Hills & Dales Drive, LaGrange, Georgia.

Cornelia Cho and Sam Landes (pictured) of the Mushroom Club of Georgia will talk about the world of edible fungi — shitake, lion’s mane, oyser, enoki, porcini, chanterelles and morels — from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 22, 2017. On the agenda are discussions of the culinary and medicinal uses of mushrooms.

Attendees will taste a few different varieties and create a shitake mushroom to “take home, nurture and harvest”. All supplies are included in the $35 fee.
