Topiaries at the Conservatory: Wild Wonders“Topiaries at the Conservatory: Wild Wonders” celebrates the art of living sculpture. Focusing on endangered animals, horticulturists are busy planting, designing and sculpting 14 topiaries to be placed throughout the courtyards and biomes of Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 East Broad Street, Columbus Ohio.

Beginning May 20, 2017, Road Trips Gardeners can walk through the Conservatory encountering sculpted animals from around the world along the way. The topiary exhibition closes October 29, 2017.

A related exhibit is on display in the Cardinal Health Gallery May 20 through September 17, 2017. “Topography Topiary Terrain – Photography Inspired by Manipulation” is a photography exhibition by students, alumni and faculty from Columbus College of Art & Design that explores the manipulation of nature through lighting, perspective and design techniques. Using the Conservatory’s lush foliage and diverse plant collections as a catalyst to create new works, artists share their interpretations of the natural world.
