Waterlily Festival in Georgia
Waterlilies will be celebrated September 23 and 24, 2017, at Gibbs Gardens, 1987 Gibbs Drive, Ball Ground, Georgia
It’s an Arts Festival and Monet Waterlily Festival too. In addition to waterlilies “blooming with gusto” (both hardy and tropical selections), there’ll be a juried arts and crafts show.
Five ponds showcase over 140 varieties of waterlilies in their natural environment. Each pond originates from the flow of underground springs. No artificial liners or concrete were needed for construction, creating the largest natural display of waterlilies in the nation.
A bonus for both art and lily lovers, admission to the gardens is half-price both days: it will be $10 for adults and $5 for children and young adults, ages 3-17 — and includes admission to the gardens and the Arts Festival.
